Our language institute is part of the Internationaler Bund (IB), one of the largest independent organizations for youth, social and educational work in Germany. The IB Sprachinstitut Böblingen was founded with the aim of facilitating people's access to education, work and social participation through language support – regardless of their origin, age or level of education.

Our origins

The language institute was founded in Böblingen in response to the growing need of qualified language support. Increasing immigration and the desire of many people to build a new life in Germany required an offer that went beyond pure language teaching. Since its foundation, IB Sprachinstitut Böblingen has pursued a holistic approach in which language is seen as the key to integration and personal development.

Our way of working

We attach great importance to individual support, practical lessons and intercultural sensitivity. Our team consists of experienced, committed teachers with sound training in German as a foreign and second language (DaF/DaZ). The lessons are communicative and geared towards everyday life so that our participants can actively use the language and quickly find their way in everyday German life.
We work closely with local authorities, job centers, educational institutions and companies to ensure that our courses are always tailored to the needs of the job market and our participants. Whether integration courses, job-related German language support or exam preparation - we offer tailor-made solutions with recognized certificates such as telc or DTZ.

Our vision

We are convinced that language connects people. Our aim is not only to teach language skills, but also to open up new perspectives. We accompany people on their way to a self-determined future - competently, respectfully and with commitment.
